Pinterest Review

My soon-to-be sister-in-law just introduced me to this pretty cool website, Pinterest.
I was kind of confused at first but now, I can't stop pinning and getting ideas from other people's pins as well.

On Pinterest you have boards which you label. This could be anything from Clothing Styles to Favorite Movies. Then you pin pictures. Personally, if I see something on the internet that I like, I will usually save the picture in my file folders. Pinterest gives me the option of displaying all those great finds.
What I really like about it is people will repin my pictures and I will look at those boards to find that they have the same style as I do. I've gotten great ideas!

Pinterest says

What is Pinterest?

Think of Pinterest as a virtual pinboard — a place where you can create collections of things you love and "follow" collections created by people with great taste.

People use Pinterest to collect and share all sorts of things -- wedding inspiration, favorite T-shirts, DJ equipment. You name it, people are pinning it.

We know you have great taste in something. Our mission is to make Pinterest the best place for you to share your taste with the world.

How do I start pinning?

The easiest way to pin an item is to use the Pin It bookmark. This is a special button that lets you grab an image from any website and add it to one of your pinboards. When you pin from a website, we automatically grab the source link so we can credit the original creator.

How do I install the Pin It button on my browser?

Firefox, Safari, and Chrome:

  1. Make sure your bookmarks bar is visible by going to View > Always Show Bookmarks Bar
  2. Drag this link to your bookmarks bar: Pin It.
These are some of the great ideas I've gotten so far.

A great tutorial on a bracelet
T-Shirt braided necklaces- love the pastels
A door knob holder for curtains.
A great idea for holding ribbon (mine is currently jumbled in a Wal-Mart bag)
And of course cute animals!

If this sounds like something you'd be interested, give it a try!
